Gaykryssning nekad både i Turkiet och Egypten

The Scarlet Lady har dykt upp på flera håll i nyheterna nyligen. Det är en gaykryssning som tidigare i veckan skulle lägga till en turkisk hamn, men fick beskedet att de inte var välkomna på grund av "groups known for behaviours that do not align with the structure of our society and our moral values".

Det här fick arrangören Atlantis Events att se sig om efter ett nytt resmål och satte kurs mot Alexandria i Egypten. Men... inte heller där var gaykryssningen välkommen, och bolaget skriver i ett uttalande (via The Guardian):

"Please know that both the Atlantis and Virgin Voyages teams worked tirelessly to make this call in Alexandria a possibility. This news came as a surprise to all of us, and we're just as disappointed as you are."

Det här är såklart rejäla misasräkningar eftersom folk räknat med att få se Egyptens sevärdheter, och arrangören beklagar och menar att det är ett kvitto på att HBTQ-rättigheter just nu är på tillbakagång. Skeppet ska nu åka till Kreta istället, och vad som händer efter det återstår att se.

Ein defekter Motor schleuderte Trümmer in ein Fenster eines Ryanair-Flugs, sodass fast ein Passagier aus dem Fenster geworfen wurde. Glücklicherweise schien der Mann unverletzt entkommen zu sein, und das Flugzeug kehrte nach Thessaloniki, Griechenland, zurück, von wo es gestartet war. Andere Passagiere berichteten, vor dem Vorfall einen lauten Knall gehört zu haben, und es hätte natürlich noch viel schlimmer ausgehen können.

Den Passagieren wurde relativ kurz nach der Landung ein Ersatzflug angeboten, aber wir können uns vorstellen, dass nicht alle so schnell nach dem Vorfall wieder in die Luft wollten.
