Mamelodi Sundowns unveil two-star away kit for 2026/27 season

PUMA and Mamelodi Sundowns have unveiled the club’s away kit for the 2026/27 season.

The new strip consists of a blue jersey, white shorts and blue socks. Two stars appear above the club crest to mark Sundowns’ second CAF Champions League title, secured in May 2026.

Geometric design draws inspiration from the sun

The blue jersey features geometric graphics that radiate across the fabric.

The design represents the energy and force associated with Mamelodi Sundowns’ style of football.

Royal blue, deep navy and the club’s familiar yellow form the kit’s main colour palette, with contrasting shades adding depth to the design.

‘Fueled by the Sun’ campaign

PUMA and Sundowns launched the away kit through a campaign titled ‘Fueled by the Sun’.

The campaign links the club’s success to its energetic approach to football, ambition, intensity and winning mentality.

“The new Away Kit is inspired by the powerful energy that defines Mamelodi Sundowns. It is a bold expression of the Masandawana spirit and embodies the Club’s ambition and the momentum that drives every performance,” said Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director.

Authentic and Replica shirts available

Supporters can choose between the Authentic shirt worn by the players and the Replica version.

The Authentic shirt uses PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric and has an athletic fit developed for elite performance.

ULTRAWEAVE is an ultra-lightweight, precision-woven fabric designed to support unrestricted movement.

The shirt also includes dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies, designed to manage sweat and regulate heat.

The Replica shirt is made from recycled polyester and is available in men’s, women’s and children’s sizes.

Sundowns away kit price and release date

The Mamelodi Sundowns 2026/27 away kit goes on sale on 13 August 2026.
